EDITORIAL Spring Summer 2019
Spring|Summer 2019 will offer a wide variety of styles, shapes and include political and social concerns throughout the designer's collection. I was especially struck by the climatic changes concern and how fashion can communicate and even take a stand with regards to these issues. Once again, artists are taking the stand to speak outlaid and make their voices heard denouncing what threatens the entire globe 'climatic changes'.
Here is an 8 pages Editorial telling the story of this worldwide phenomenon and how designers have chosen to express their concerns and what might soon be coming at us.

North Pole
According to our designers we will have to cover it up this summer.
Christopher Raeburn proposes a multi layer, long sleeve, long neck and a hooded jacket with pockets, ribbons and zippers.... Very trendy details this season.
The color white lends itself well to the season's theme : The North Pole. Reminding us that climatic changes are affecting the planet globally due to the melting of the Arctic Ice Pack.
This White Stems From The Ecological Footprint
Fashion is a reflection of our society. It talks to us constantly about current events, deep transformational currents or trends that are simply said to be dans l'air du temps!
Season SS 2019 speaks to us of the profound concerns in movements that we can no longer ignore. The barriers lower while the limits are pushed back. The conformism of the past makes room for the nuance, and the nuance of yesteryears becomes more obvious. Climate change, ethnicities, female and male gender, #metoo movement and positive feminism are dans l'air du temps!
These movements are largely supported by the liberalization of styles, the technological innovation in the textile industry, the new manufacturing processes all contributing to the ambient razzmatazz. Be ready for it all... because there is truly something ... for everyone!
From pure white to vibrant colors, from checks to flowers, from laces to techno materials all coexisting in perfect symbiosis and harmony in the most festive atmosphere where elements are layered fashionably at the whim of the bearer!
This summer there is no place for shyness... dare, innovate and renew your look. This is the time or never.

Elongated shirt turned into a dress. Fancy details: adjustable hem, opening on the sleeves and pleat on the front add discrete beauty and elegance.
The budget for this production is limitless! What a wonder and we shall not waist the wonderful opportunity that is given to us.
The most out of reach locations, the most sought after models and professional photographer will tag along this expedition!
The CREW for the SS 2019 includes many names well known artists in the fashion industry as well as some rising but HOT stars.
WILL BE PART OF THIS EXPEDITION Mary Thomas, Patti Wilson, Russell James, dawn sterling, Marie Duhart Adam Szabo.
The crew will be heading to the North Pole in septembre 2018 in preparation for the Spring VOGUE Issue due in March

These 3 models have been selected for their ability to show 'attitude' on camera and can make a beautiful 'pout' which is considering the theme CLIMATE CHANGES is going to enhance the unhappy attitude about the consequence of climate changes as well as sending the message : WE NEED CHANGE... AND IT'S NOT CLIMATE CHANGE!

Much of the SS 2019 is about climate changes. Many fashion creators designed their collection either completely focused the polar ice caps melt due to global warming or had elements referring to it. In any case some essentiel de : coldness: parka - long sleeves - sweater hoods.
